& Report Review
Ratings provided based on AMA Guides 4th, 5th, & 6th Editions Consulting CMRS offers training and consulting in a multitude of different areas including AMA impairment ratings, Workers’ Compensation reporting requirements, issues regarding apportionment and causation, and historian services. Assistance can be provided either via telephone or on-site at your convenience. We also offer reviews of existing impairment ratings to verify accuracy and will provide a memorandum on our findings, as well as an alternative impairment rating if applicable.

Med-Legal Report Review Generally performed in conjunction with AMA rating, CMRS report review assures compliance with Workers’ Compensation laws and standards. CMRS actively stays abreast of the continual changes taking place in the Workers’ Compensation system to ensure the accuracy of your med-legal reports. Our staff is trained and up-to-date on these changes, as we consistently monitor the growing body of case law that governs these requirements. Our expertise includes understanding and appropriately addressing the differences between causation and apportionment. We make sure all required sections of a report are per the AMA Guides, are adequately addressed, and ensure that correct Workers’ Compensation terminology is utilized. Although we strive to avoid requests for a supplemental report, our services do include complete and accurate responses to supplemental letter requests.

We can provide body-part-specific exam sheets for your completion during evaluations, helpful instruction sheets, and training on what AMA-specific information is necessary for a complete and accurate impairment rating.
